Well I'm sure no expert on Jeeps. but a guy I know. has had this FC-170 in a barn for the last 20 years. or so. I ended up with it in a trade.  This is what I would call a "Barn Find".  Here is what I know. It belonged to a fire dept. in the mountains here in Colorado.
I believe the 66. 47 miles are actual. It was taken out of service waiting for a muffler system.
This jeep is filthy dirty. and just how I received it.  I have spun the engine by hand. and it "Turns free".  
There are some boogered-up lug nuts on the right front wheel. and it has no muffler.  It has some typical rust spots. but not as bad as most I've seen. The bed is very nice and straight.
The drive shafts are in the bed along with some spare mirrors. chains. etc.
With a few exceptions I would say this FC is almost 100% complete and original.    My opening bid is  $2. 00. 00 with no reserve.
I have a clear and open Colorado title for it.  This Jeep is almost 55 years old and being sold as is. ( Not running).  I would much rather you plan for the worst. and hope for the best. than be disappointed in anyway.  Now all this having been said. I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have this up and going again in fairly short order. ( If I do not sell it as-is. I will have my shop get it in working order and re-list it accordingly).  
This jeep could be a neat "daily driver". or perhaps be candidate for a restoration. It's sure not perfect. but I think that who ever ends up with it will be very pleased. Just my thoughts.  I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I found it sitting idle and in storage for all those years.

I can not ship.   This means I can not crate. box. disassemble. or deliver to a shipping company.   I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper. however I can.

A $200. 00 non-refundable deposit through Pay Pal is required within 24 hours of auction's end.  

PayPal is acceptable for the deposit only.

  The balance is due via bank/certified check. or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end.   If you are an out of the states buyer. I will gladly work with you in regards to the time and details it takes to process payment.

Does it run? It will cost more to transport it if it does not run. If it runs, it is worth 2700 to me.
