EXTERIOR
This lucky MK1 Gti has been treated to a first class restoration and unlike most restored cars this example started with an excellent low mileage solid car. The GTi was completely stripped to a bare shell and then the whole car has been repainted in the original Lhasa green including the engine bay. underside. boot and interior sections. The finish is superb and the car has been carefully put back together with immaculate trims.

You really get a true reflection of the attention to detail when you look under the car. everything has been powder coated or replaced and the metal work beautifully painted in body colour.

INTERIOR
Due to the excellent condition of the car before restoration. the interior is all original. and other than a little wear to the driver's bolster it is first in first rate condition. Everything works as it should and the dash and trim are in fine shape and free from any marks or cracks. The carpets are immaculate as is the rear parcel shelf boot area.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine compartment is in true concours winning condition with freshly painted body work and any ancillary part showing any sign of age has been refurbished or replaced.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
All of the alloys are perfect and have recently been refurbished in the correct VW silver and have been treated to new mats and centre caps. The brakes and suspension have been fully overhauled and everything appears as new.

HISTORY FILE
This GTi comes with a file full of invoices showing maintenance work before the restoration. There is a disk that shows pictures of all the restoration stages. and since completion the car has covered just over 2. 00 miles and has been serviced twice.
