Jaguar : E-Type for sale
Current customer rating:
1969 E-type Series 2 4. 2 liter roadster in Old English white with matching numbers. a factory hardtop. power steering in excellent condition.
49 K miles since new.
The car has had 3 owners - all in California.
Originally. a southern California car first sold 9/18/1969.
It was driven until 1980 when it was put in storage until 2013.
In 2013 it was bought by a Jaguar mechanic for his own car and renovated.
He sold it to me several months later when he decided to buy a house.
I had a few small things done including replacing the tires and having the parking brake fixed.
The car has factory air conditioning though its not hooked up.
Also. the original 2 carburetors were replaced with a 3-carburetor setup as was used in the non-US models for better power - all original parts are with the car still.
It has the original factory hardtop which is in excellent condition and in matching old English white.
The original California plates are ZXZ 627.
The engine no. 7 R 5891-9. gear box KE 7212. chassis no. P 1 R 9711. body number R 3907.
Some of the exterior chrome was redone recently.
The gas tank was just replaced.
And there's a new stainless steel exhaust system.
The original owners manual and "The Complete Official Jaguar "E" handbook. Workshop Manual and Special Tuning Manual" are included.
I have all repair receipts since the mid 70's.
