You are bidding on my 1964 HiPo 289 Comet street machine. Motor is a HiPo 289 with nice cam. Runs super strong with a lot of power. Trans is a 3 speed with newer clutch and Hurst shifter. it will cotton the rear tires if you wanted to. One of the pictures kinda shows the tires just starting to smoke and that was about 1/4 throttle. I do have a policeman next door so I didn't want to jump on it to really show you what it can do so it does have a lot of power. I really don't do that but just wanted to show what it can do. Runs great. new brakes and new rear brake cylinders fronts were fine. All glass is great and interior is very good. the driver seat needs to be redone but its not that bad. Front bucket seats I believe out of a 50's T-Bird. All gauges work great. radio even works with a Realistic stereo under the dash. No rust or rot on car. Battery is mounted in trunk. Has the original Fomoco chrome rims and are in great shape. Has cyclone rearend. I believe this car has been in the garage most of it's life. I think I'm the 3rd owner since it was new. Many other parts are new also. Really a true classic car and it will last for a long time. It is my everyday driver and the gas mileage really isn't that bad I'm guessing around 17 to 20 if your foot's not in it all the time. I get a lot of people saying what a bitch'n car. Please ask questions and only bid if you have the money. I really don't need to sell this car but it would help with my new project. Have a Happy Holiday.

Thanks for all the positive emails. I've had about twenty emails asking about the engine block number so here it is  (C8AE-6015N) on the 289 which is from March of 1968. And yes I have clear title in hand. I've had a lot of emails about the paint job. paint is real good there is thin line cracks on the front fender parts that were filled too look like it's a one piece not that bad to me and where the hood fin goes on front has a crack in the paint but not that bad also. Out of 1 to 10 on paint I would say a 7 or 8. has a great shine and super straight. The car is really a smooth driver and it's one of the best comets I've owned. For the guys that asked about shipping I have used U-Ship and never had and issue with them and the prices are good. I will be out of town due to Thanksgiving weekend. So if it sells I will get back with you on Sunday. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
