1973 Porsche 911T - matching numbers - chassis. engine and transmission.
This 1973 Porsche 911T is pretty close to being what this car would have looked and driven like the day it was sold at the Porsche dealership. It has been restored to a high standard. but is not a concurs "best of show winner"…yet. It is instead a beautiful example of a 1973 911T that you can drive any where and enjoy completely. This is a very solid car with no questionable history. I bought the car from a guy in Florida who said he thought it had been a two owner car. prior to his purchase. but that the two previous owners were family members. This is a very original. numbers matching. Signal Yellow 911TThe only thing that is missing from this original package is the MFI and that could easily be sourced from places like DC Automotive. I know they have several sets that would fit this car. The carburetors are a whole lot easier to keep running well. however.
The car runs and shifts great. The car looks amazing and gets thumbs up everywhere it goes.

Professionally cleaned gas tank

This car is about 95% complete as far as restoration goes. It runs and drives great but still could use a couple little things to finish it off:For example. the rear parcel shelf needs to be recovered. the batteries need the original hold downs. it needs seat belts and there a couple dings in the paint that occurred during the re-assembly.
I have decided to part with the car as-is because I just don't have the time to finish it. In this way the new owner will have a few things that need work but will also have a beautiful running and driving car.

As an fyi it may be helpful to view the Hagerty Valuation Tool for the 1973 Porsche 911. They currently show the 1973 911T with an average value of $53. 00 across all ranges of condition. My car would probably rate between a 3 ($54. 00) or a 2 ($70. 00) on their scale. You can also see from the report that the value of Porsche 911's in this age range continue to skyrocket in value.
