A very attractive car which we acquired from the 86 year old retired businessman owner who has owned the car from new and sold the car only due to his failing health forcing him to sadly give up driving. The car benefits from a complete up to date service record with previous services at 24103. 30504. 35360. 44020. 48522. 54369. 60126. 69744. 71689. 75676. 78113. 82000. 86323. 99536. 103796. 104259 and 104884 miles. current mileage is 105. 57. The car has been serviced exclusively by the same motor engineers from new and there were services prior to 24103 miles however the invoices have been lost. but we do have a letter from the garage confirming that they have serviced the car from new. In addition to the stamped service book we have a collection of further invoices for work carried out - we even have the original factory build card for the vehicle !

Finished in silver with blue Velour upholstery. this is a very highly specified car for the period including air conditioning. electric tilt/slide sunroof. original Blaupunkt Seattle stereo with CD Player. electric seats. heated seats. cruise control. electric windows front and rear. electric mirrors. electric steering column adjustment. central locking. headlamp wash/wipe. fog lamps. trip odometer. 16 inch wheels with matching Pirelli P6000 tyres all round. The car has aftermarket reverse parking sensors which work well.

We travelled a very long way to collect this car on the understanding that it was "the best you are ever likely to see". The car drove almost 300 miles back to our premises in sweltering heat and didn't miss a beat. tackling country lanes and cruising at the motorway limit with ease. The oil pressure and temperature never moved and it was very enjoyable drive home. in fact we continued to use the car for several days afterwards and it performed faultlessly. The description we were given is a little over the top. however the car would make an excellent daily driver while your concourse classic stays reserved for high days and holidays. The SEC is not a common vehicle and 1 owner cars of this age with full. up to date service records are very few and far between.
