THIS IS A LATE 1956 Dodge ½ ton Flat bed Stake side pick up. 230ci flat head 6 cylinders. 3 speed transmission. factory 12 volt electrical system. 57. 00 original miles. I am the 2nd owner (1st owner was my grandfather who left it to me 9 years ago).   It was purchased in Washington and is still here.   As far as I know it has never been wrecked. the wood in the bed was replaced about 10 years ago with oak and the bed frame was repainted. and the body was repainted about the same time with a medium quality paint job.   It runs great. every thing works (wipers. lights. emergency brake. dome light. heater. syncros in transmission. ect).   I try to drive it monthly. but it needs a good home and someone that has the time to bring it back to a restored condition.   It has been garaged most of its life and has very little rust. only in areas that metal touches metal (such as hood to fenders but only surface).   Floor mat is original. back of the seat is original. head liner is original. interior paint is original. chrome is in good shape. very little pitting. has all 4 original hubcaps. All the glass is in tacked but has some cracks and rock chips.   It will need to be picked up in Washington.    I encourage you to come and inspect/drive the truck by appointment before placing a bid. I require a $500 non refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not receive the deposit within the required time frame. I will assume you are a dreamer or a scamer and not serious about buying this truck!
