ONE OF ONE, NUMBERS MATCHING for sale
Current customer rating:
ONE OF ONE.
In 1966. Plymouth built 113 cars with 440's in them from the factory as a 'test run'.
This is one of those 113. and has been certified by Galens Tag Service to be a one-of-one.
There were possibly two convertibles made with the 440 in them. but this. due to it's extensive options. is a one-of-one.
This car is now a good daily driver. and needs to be lovingly restored.
You will be purchasing this car to make it what it IS--truly a showpiece and maintaining the distinction of the ONE of ONE.
All numbers match. as certified by an independent shop .
The previous owner (who passed about 7 years ago. I believe). over the years he had it. collected other trim pieces. which are loaded loose in the trunk.
He removed the Air Conditioning compressor and resultant hoses. which are also loaded loose in the trunk.
His widow. from whom I purchased the car. stated that he. did. indeed. obtain extra parts for the car. which she left in the trunk.
The trunk has some rust holes (not major. but there). and I have taken undercarriage pictures if you would like to see them.
Three of the electric windows work. the fourth does not. The driver's electric seat does not work. but it all seems to be there.
I have not explored to get it to work. either.
The car was owned locally by two different owners that I am aware of. and that accounts for about 35-40 years of its history.
The convertible top works well. and has no tears.
The trim has some pitting. but. overall. the car is a real eye-teaser and great conversation starter---even before the admirer realizes its uniqueness at being the one of one! Please email with any specific requests. and I will do my best to fulfill them.
This is truly a fun. powerful car. that deserves to go to the right owner that is willing to put in the time and $$ to preserve this piece of MOPAR history.
