this fj 40 was purchased a year ago from the original owner. the cruiser has been in the Lancaster California desert for its entire life. the last time this cruiser was registered before purchasing it was 1993. it sat under a canopy ever since. there are no seats and it is missing the soft top bows that go above the doors. this is a factory fj 40 soft top model . with original paint from 1970. never repainted so you can tell how much use it had. it was purchased to restore into a more modern cruiser with a v 8 and more updated drivetrain. but now that im relocating it will be sold and not finished. the original motor turns free and has never been apart. it is all there a few things have been disassembled but the bolts and parts are there. the only rust this cruiser has is under the seat area where it had a few rags that look like they collected moisture. I have a replacement floor that will go with the sale. the wheels on the cruiser will not be going with it there are 4 stock wheels on it right now. this cruiser need a total restoration and can not be driven home or started as the wires have been disconnected under the hood. I have done my best to describe this cruiser . but if you have questions I will be glad to answer them. will be sold as is. no warranty. this is one of the best unrestored cruiser bodies I have seen in a long time. do not miss out on this if you want to start with a solid foundation.
