1978 Porsche 911 SC

For your consideration is this very beautiful 911 SC finished in brilliant silver metallic over Tartan cloth. the color combination is simply stunning! This 911 has been very well cared for and it shows. It is a great looking. great running car that is a blast to drive.

-Exterior-

The body is in outstanding condition. Structurally this car is solid. there is absolutely no rust including in the usual places such as the trunk. battery tray and floors. The car is further complimented by the original “Fuchs” which have absolutely no curb rash. All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. The tires are practically brand new (they have less than 2000 miles on them)

Everything in the car works 100% including all gauges and accessories.

This 911 has the upgraded “European” H-4 headlights.

-Interior-

The interior is in very good original condition. seats are original and have very minimal wear. carpets are the original Sliverknit and show very little. if any. wear. Original. working Blaupunkt radio. The dash is perfect. no cracks. no warping. The rear decklid/parcel shelf is in perfect condition. The door panels. map pockets and headliner are in very excellent original condition. The car spent it's entire life in an enclosed garage so there is no sun damage.

-Engine & Transmission-

The engine is in outstanding mechanical condition. the 3. 0 power plant is perfectly tuned. starts right up on the first try each and every time. idles smoothly and runs as strong as it did when it was new. This car is simply provides the driver with nothing but pure enjoyment behind the wheel.

This machine does not burn or leak a drop of oil.

Standard upgrades have been done including the installation of Carrera style oil fed chain tensioners.

The transmission shifts seamlessly through the all of the gears with no slipping or grinding. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train. all you hear is the music of the flat six engine. The ride in this 911 is great. there are no squeaks. rattles or other unwanted noises. the car drives straight and true. there is nothing indicating this car is 35 years old!
