Up for Auction is a Real 1970 Dodge Challenger RT Convertible.   This Challenger RT started out as a 383 ci with an automatic transmission. but somewhere in the past a Dick Landy built supercharged 340 ci was installed with an 883 4 speed transmission.   I have pictures of Dick Landy standing with this car and documents indicating "DLI" Dick Landy Inc worked on this vehicle.   This is a very dependable car and can be driven anywhere you desire.   I have the original build sheet that will come with the car.   When I purchased the car it had an older restoration still intact. When it was restored someone had tried to make a "clone TA style car which can be seen in the TA style hood.   Also when I purchased the vehicle it had 5'"on 5" nascar style wheels and a Ford 9" disc brake rear end.   I have since replaced the entire rear axle with an 8. 75" 3:23 sure grip differential on drum brakes.   All of the internal components (brake shoes. brake cylinders. springs. bearings. seals etc) have been replaced.   The suregrip is also a fresh rebuild.   I also had the transmission rebuilt and installed a balanced driveshaft also replacing the U-joints.   The Clutch. flywheel. pressure plate where all replaced when I had the trans rebuilt.   I also replaced the front brake pads. rotors and calipers. bearings. seals etc.   The only thing major repair I have done to the engine is a water pump. rebuilt the alternator and changed the belts.   I have driven this car all over Southern Califonia. Nevada and Arizona without a problem in the Desert heat and cold.   It is very dependable mechanically.   The engine is an orginal 340 ci mopar engine from 1970.  The supercharger is a custom Dick Landy built B&M unit.   I have never had one bit of problems with this unit.   The engine pulls very hard but can also be driven on a mellow basis and it will behave.   The front seats are aftermarket buckets which I had reupholstered.

If the car sells at or above the reserve price I will include two Original Challenger front seat frames. a brand new Convertible Top (Black). rear window glass and a brand new dash pad for A/C car.

This car is a factory A/C car (not working) and like I said was originally a 383 ci automatic.   It is now a 340ci 4 speed. Manual Front disc rear drum brakes. Power steering. Power top. Rally Dash.   It was originally "Go Mango" EK2 Color code.

Please understand this car is not perfect but it is a great daily driver.

The negative side  - There is some rust in the drivers side floor pan. in the rear passenger floor pan and some bubbling in the driver side rocker below the quarter window.   The trunk has very minor rust with a few pin holes.   The trunk has been covered in "Por15"  All of these areas have been in the same condition for the nearly 10 years I have owned this vehicle.

This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Please ask all questions prior to the end of auction.   I am indicating the reserve price of $32500. 00 because I dont want any games.   I just want to sell the car.   I am including my telephone number 760-895-2657 Please call between the hours of 7:00am and 9:00pm California Time.

I will sell worldwide and can transport the vehicle in an enclosed trailer for a fee that we both agree to prior to end of auction.   I am about 2 hours from Los Angeles California for worldwide shippers.
