Just consigned. Owned by current owner for approx 11 years. Body is mostly stock and was painted 2006 Corvette metallic red approx 6 years ago. Some paint issues have shown up in paint since. Mainly bad prep from what I can see (see pics). All chrome and stainless redone including the grille. All glass is smoked tempered glass except for the windshield.
Stock interior has been upholstered in velour. Power windows. Wing windows have been removed. Mopar slapstick shifter in a modified console. All gauges. electric wipers. turn signals and horn work. Also has a separate Aooga horn installed. Great sounding Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo mounted in glovebox w/remote. Kenwood speakers. subwoofer and amplifier. The car does not have a heater but does have most of the parts for the A/C which need to be installed.
The engine is a 1967-68 383 with Edelbrock heads and a . 509 lift Mopar purple shaft cam. MSD ignition and Probillet distributor. Carter carb on an aluminum Weiand intake. The transmission is a 727 Torqueflite. The engine and trans have approx. 1 k miles on them. The exhaust is headers into 3" exhaust with Flowmaster 40's and 2. 5" out the back. all mandrel bent.
The car has a 1967 Chrysler Newport front clip attached to the original frame. So the car has power steering and a torsion bar front suspension. The rear is also from the Newport and has a 3:55 Suregrip posi unit. Power steering. Brakes are non-power front disc with 11" rear drums. 15" steel wheels. Runs and drives good. Sounds mean. Not perfect but certainly a bargain at the asking price. Currently registered with a clean title in hand. As with the majority of the classic cars I sell. true miles unknown.
