Beautiful 1969 Pontiac Firebird. V8 Auto. Starts. runs. and drives excellent. I took this car in on a trade while I was at the Grand Rod Run in Pigeon Forge. TN September 2014. My wife and I drove this sweet Silver Bird back home to here in Ohio a few weeks ago in September 2014. We comfortably cruised 70mph-80mph with absolutely 0 issues. My wife actually slept in the passenger seat for atleast 2 hours while on our way back. I have provided pictures and video's of us cruising it on our way back home below. Almost EVERYTHING works as it should from the factory. All exterior lights. interior lights. original door buzzer(when key is in ignition). original gauges. etc. The ONLY thing that I have found that does not work is the heat and A/C due to the heater core being bypassed. however it probably just needs hooked up and I have not tried. I installed a brand new set of staggered 18" wheels on this car. but that is all that I have done to it since I drove it home. I own another 69' Firebird that I Trans Am cloned and have owned for over 15 years. I am getting too attached to this Silver 69' and that scares me. because we could use the money out of it and I do not have the room in my garage for both. So I better sell this one ASAP. I will describe in detail everything that I know about this classic muscle car. I have provided 150+ detailed pictures along with video clips. BODY
The entire body on this 69' is absolutely RAZOR straight. All of the gaps inbetween each body panel look even. The silver base/clear paint looks to only be a few years old. The hood. both doors. and the trunk open and close with that tight clicking sound that you would expect from a solid old classic. The underside of both door lips are clean and not rusty! All of the glass appears to be original and scratch/crack free. All of the frame and floorpans underneath this car appear to be extremely SOLID and clean. Both chrome bumpers are beautiful. I will nitpick everything that I can in writing. but Im sure you you can see EVERYTHING clearly in the numerous pics below. With this said. the only things I can cosmetically nitpick is a some rock/paint chips in the paint. a couple very small spots where the paint is bubbling. and the worst spot is in the middle of the passenger front fender lip. The middle of the passenger front fender lip has a small aprox. 1" cut in the metal. I am not sure how this happened. but it was there when I got it. All of these typical imperfections on the body are im sure from being driven. and are almost unknotecable unless looking for them! Cosmetically. it is overall absolutely beautiful and very solid for being 45 years old!! You could hold your head up high if cruising into a carshow or cruise in. I will let the pictures and videos do the rest of the talking about the body.

ENGINE & DRIVETRANE
This Silver 69' Bird has a Chevrolet drivetrane of which I personally would prefer over a Pontiac drivetrane. It has a V8-350 mated to an automatic transmission. The engine starts right up everytime and runs amazing. It has an amazing deep V8 sound with dual flowmaster exhaust. All of the sound exits the rear of the car with no exhaust leaks. This Firebird has power steering and power front disc brakes that work excellent and makes it a pleasure to cruise. The transmission shifts into every single gear perfect. The brakes stop this car hard and straight. The suspension appears to be lowered. It is surprisingly very comfortable and is a smooth ride when hitting bumps. The steering feels tight and there is no abnormal play. I drove this car home with a set of 15" Weld Racing rims wrapped with new tires. I installed a very nice set of brand new staggered 18" Riddler 695 wheels and tires with lug nuts last week. The front wheels are 18x8 with 225/40ZR18's. The rear wheels are 18x9. 5 with 275/55ZR18's. This combination with the lowered suspension gives this car the perfect stance. You can see the stickers on the tires still of which are slowly wearing off. The rearend is super quiet with no whine. I am not sure of the gear ratio. but it is a perfect "cruising" gear. My wife and I very comfortably cruised it at 70mph+ for over 300 miles a few weeks ago. This car runs. shifts. feels. drives. and sounds as good as it looks. The only thing I can nitpick about the drivetrane is the front tires barely rub when making sharp turns. But both sets of wheels go with the sale and there was no rubbing at all with the other set! It cruises down the road amazingly and is an absolute blast to drive!! There is no noticable leaks. and this car does not mark its spot when parked. The only thing you need to worry about when cruising this car. is the attention that it draws. I would personally feel very comfortable driving this cross country again right now.

INTERIOR
The interior is good and clean. The door panels. dash. carpet. seats. and headliner look nice. Both seats slide back and forth nicely. The original door buzzer(when key is in igntion) works! The dome light comes on when opening the door. The windshield wipers work great. The original heater & A/C controls work great and the fan blows hard. however the heater core is bypassed for an unknown reason. The A/C compressor is NOT locked up and turns freely. All of the original lights in the dash and gauge cluster work. The original speedometer works but is off a little! All 4 windows roll up and down smoothly. The stereo system consists of a Pioneer CD player and 2 6x9 speakers behind the rear seat. The stereo plays clear and sounds great. The trunk has an original looking mat intact and looks to be solid underneath it. I have provided A LOT of detailed pictures below. Overall. this is just a clean and beautiful classic muscle car that turns everyones heads. It is a lot of fun to cruise around and is very reliable!!

UPDATE 10/08/2014: My wife and I have been talking about what it takes to buy this Pro-Touring 69' Silver Bird. If the reserve is NOT met with 24 hours left. I will drop the reserve to 1 more bid above the high bidder. In other words. she wants her parking spot back in the garage. And in reality we could use the money out of this one. if only I could keep both 69's!! So if the reserve is NOT met on the start of the last day. I will sadly lower the reserve to one bid above the high bidder. Someone is definitely going to get a sweet ride.
