California rust free 1967 Fj 40 with d esirable Safari canvas top.
Rarely seen for sale in this condition.
I bought this truck from a very nice collector
who owned a beautiful vineyard property in Sonoma north of
San Francisco. This car sat in the garage and was seldom driven.
At the time when I got this Fj 40
she just bought a very nice classic Fj pick up truck and decided to let this baby go.
This Fj 40 is a desirable color combination
Olive Brown with Persimmon interior.
She had the s tock motor upgraded to a super nice V 8 professional conversion.
New 400 V 8 small block Chevy 4 bolt with n ew Edelbrock intake manifold.
New 600 cfm Edelbrock carburetor.
The engine power is amazing and was worth the money to have a capable Fj that can power through anything and climb the hills in San Francisco!
It has the o riginal Toyota 3 speed transmission that shifts smooth and crisp.
Recent work includes:
New 2200 cfm cooling fan.
New aluminum radiator.
Also equipped with Optima 850 battery 8274 and Warn winch.
The
3 inch Rough Country suspension lift is a really good look.
Brand new stock Fj 40 wheels and hubcaps. Tires are 33 x 10. 50 /15 Bf Goodrich Mud Terrain with n ew matching spare tire.
New front bearings.
New clutch assembly.
New door seal and n ew interior and carpet front /rear.
Brake system flush recently.
I have the stock instrument cluster (not installed yet but included with sale)
