Current customer rating: (540 votes ) based on1956 Hudson. Rambler Wagon . This is a rare car. 1956 was the last year Hudson produced cars. they had joined with Nash. in 1954 to form AMC. It is titled as a 1956 Hudson wagon. nbsp;it has a Hudson emblem. on the hood. and Rambler on the tailgate. and rear quarters. it came from the factory. this way. This isn't your grandpa's Rambler wagon. its far. from stock. nbsp;it has a 1990 Mark 7 Lincoln complete unibody frame or floor pan. 302 H. O. engine. This is the same engine used in a Mustang G. T. It uses the mark 7 automatic trans. and rear axle. Lincoln front suspension. and 4 wheel disc brakes. New 17" wheels and tires. new dual exhaust. from the lead off pipes rearward. This is a project car. but one that has already had a ton of the hard . work done to it. One you can drive. and refine to make it yours as you drive it. It looks old. nbsp; but doesn't have the slow old 6cyl engine and old steering . rakes. ect. the best of both worlds. cool old design. that can keep pace with modern traffic. You couldn't buy the parts and build this car. for my asking price. It will be a hit. at most any car show. due to its rarity. and its cool "Art Deco Design". Plus its a wagon. everyone wants one. and this isn't your standard Ford. hevy. ct. . Paint has a great patina. the yellow primer. you see along lower part of car. was done after rust repair. was finished. new metal put in lower rear front fender areas. and new rocker panels put in. he car does not have any serious rust. now. 1956 was a big Tri-color year. for many of the car company's. You just don't see many 3 color cars. these days. You won't see these cars everyday. even at the large shows. this is a major attention grabber. Hard to drive this anywhere. without people asking. "what is it?"
That said. this is a project car. far from perfect. but way ahead of the game. If you've never been involved with a project of this magnatude. then you need to know. it was a ton of work. just to get this to the stage it is now. and thats what your buying. lots of labor. and the parts to do it. Just check around at your local hot rod shop and see what the labor alone would be to do this? Im sure its more than my asking price. What would this amount of money. buy you on a used car lot? Maybe a used Civic. or Focus? If you want. to have a very cool car. and finish it your way. without the wait. this is it. Does it still need work? Yes. thats why its listed as a project. its a 58 year old vehicle. combined with a 1990. s vehicle. there are no instructions for doing this! Anything that old will have some character flaws. So don't expect. it to be like your new car. It will need windshield wiper work. interior work. A. C. and heater work . gauge work. and lots of detail work to be a nice car. If you're a serious buyer and have questions. I am happy to talk to you. just call. no late night calls. Clear title in my name. Car is for sale locally. so I reserve the right to end auction at any time. if it sells locally. Car sold AS-IS. No Warranty. 660-346-8671 thanks!
