Current customer rating:
This is a classic S 1 sedan 1959 Bentley made in Crewe. England. I purchased it from Bentley High Point Motors. NC in 1999. In that 15 year period I have added just 7. 38 miles as I purchased it as a classic auto to own. not to drive often.
I was soon asked to drive brides from the church to their receptions which I was happy to do occasionally.
The car is finished in a two tone Shell grey over Tudor grey with a double red pinstripe on the trim down the side. Everything in the interior is fitted with soft red leather hides and red carpet which is in very good condition. There is an inside clock in working order and the original radio which does work. There is air conditioning which blows cool air. The back seat has built in ash trays above fold down tray tables called picnic tables. It has been a non smoking car.
I have always had my car serviced at Bentley Motors in High Point. N. C.
The tires are relatively new. I would say I have only added 200 miles since I purchased them.
In the luggage boot there is a spare tire. along with the original set of tools that came with the car. I have the handbook that came with the car. I also purchased later the $200 Workshop manual with instructions on all repairs for the Rolls Royce and Bentley S 1 and S 2.
The Condition of the car is very good and in line with the age of the vehicle. The leather seats show some age. but no tears and I would say very good condition. The interior ceiling still looks good the area behind the back seat shows some age.
The wood interior is intact and looks good. however there are 2 areas which show the stain to be off on the front doors near the hinges.
On the outside. there is a small dent - about an inch on the left rear door.
It is quite small and I could not get a good photo of this.
On the right front door are two 1 inch scratches that are parallel to each other and can be seen in a photo. Also on the left side. on the body of the car is an area with some bubbling up of the finish as seen in a photo.
Any questions - don't hesitate to
