One of 492 Examples ever produced prior to production being curtailed by war. Indeed production on this car was so late that it was not registered until June of 1946. The car wears spectacular coupé coachwork by noted Builders J. Gurney nutting that exudes elegance & beauty from every angle. The car was ordered as a Drop head coupe. but at some stage very early in its life it was modified to fixed head configuration.

The car was restored over 20 years ago & has done few miles since giving credence to the indicated mileage of 65. 00. The mid blue paint is in very tidy order throughout & the dark blue roof covering is close to new. To the interior is mid blue leather again in lovely condition complimented by grey carpets. The interior is particularly art decco in style with metal pin line inserts along the door cappings & a very period wooden grip that extends down in to the leather design on the door.

The car was recently the recipient of £25. 00 in expenditure at Marque experts Frank Dales & was then driven to Goodwood for the revival & also on several local tours. Thus the car comes to us in superb running order. The treatment of the spare wheel holder on the rear of the car is particularly pleasing blending seamlessly as it does towards the roof base. A full set of small tools is located under the passenger & drivers seats. A Rolls Royce operation manual also comes with the car.

Under the bonnet as might be expected the car engine is detailed to show quality. It runs in silence & starts readily from cold. The whole driving experience is one of tautness & togetherness as one might expect from a low mileage chassis. The car absolutely has the wow factor drawing admiring glances wherever it comes to rest. The car is fitted with overdrive from Tim Payne & also a discreet rev counter. The overdrive makes for very very relaxed cruising at modern day traffic speeds. The car wants for nothing & is ready for immediate use.
