1926 Rolls Royce 20 hp Doctors Coupe

Registration number: BW 9931 (does not go with car. )
A charming doctors coupe in excellent running order. The body is an Abbot of Farnham design fitted decades ago the car carrying Abbot coach plates to the door sills. The whole car is sound. correct-looking and nicely finished cosmetically. painted in two shades of blue. complimented by an excellent blue leather interior and matching blue mohair hood. Correct items include nickel radiator lamps and other bright-work. 21” wheels with Dunlop Fort tyres. which add to the authentic appearance and feel.
The body is equipped with a capacious dickey seat to the rear & also a bench type seat behind the drivers seat allowing provision for 6 occupants. There is also a large wooden storage cabinet to the back of the drivers seat. A single side mount spare wheel sits on the off side running board. The interior leather is Connolly hide of the highest quality complimented by blue Wilton carpets.
During the period of the 1980's the car had a full engine rebuild & general restoration. The car appears not to have covered many miles since then as for a long period it was stored in a large private collection & saw sporadic use.
The car starts readily & drives beautifully. The engine is quiet. The ride supple & the whole experience making for pleasant motoring. The car retains its original under-trays & a large Klaxon horn is mounted under the bonnet. It exhibits good oil pressure around 20 lbs when hot & temperature never exceeds 70 degrees.
