EXTERIOR
This exceptional Targa has covered a mere 27k miles and remains in remarkable un-restored original condition. The paintwork is almost flawless with only a few light stone chips to the nose and wheel arch edges. Importantly coming from a dry state in the US the car is completely rust free and the underside and wheel arches are also immaculate.

Trim items such as the chrome and rubber seals are also all in fine condition with only the tinniest amount of pitting to the chrome front grills and a couple of small cracks in the original windscreen rubber. All of the glass and lights are free from chips or marks and the Targa top is in good shape. It really is a treat to see a 911 of this era in such amazing original condition.

INTERIOR
The originality story continues inside with an amazing untouched interior. Both front and back seats are still trimmed in the original cream vinyl and hardly show any signs of wear. The classic 911 dash remains in perfect condition with no cracks or marks; all of the dials and controls work as they should and the leather rimmed steering wheel is unworn with its textured finish.

The door cards are pristine and the original correct satin black paint surrounds them. all the carpets are immaculate as is the luggage area that also has all the tools. spare wheel. Targa roof bag and rain cover.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Looking in the engine bay is a real delight for any Porsche enthusiast as every detail is original and correct and all the components remain coated in their wax protection.

In March 2014 the car had the full 12. 00 mile service at Francis Tuthill LTD with all the fluids replaced and the valve clearances checked and adjusted.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
All of the alloys are in excellent original condition and are shod in a matching set of Pirelli P400 tyres. all of which have plenty of tread. Looking through the wheels reveals unworn disks. immaculate calipers and corrosion free compartments.

HISTORY FILE
This Targa comes with a really interesting history file that contains lots of the documents and sales brochures from 1969. The original red Porsche crested document holder is also present and it contains the 911E driver's manual. Targa supplement and the maintenance record with the early stamps in the USA.

Since arriving in the UK the car has been fully serviced. checked and looked after at Francis Tuthill LTD and all the invoices are included in the history file. There is also a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche GB.
