ROVER P5B V8 SALOON - EXCELLENT CAR - MUCH RECENT EXPENDITURE !! for sale

The Rover P 5 was produced from 1958 until 1973 in saloon and coupe forms. It was very advanced compared with the P 4 and popular with politicians. government ministers and. the Queen. The original 3. 0 was replaced by the V 8 engined “B” model in 1967.
This car is a 1972 registered P 5 B V 8 saloon in Admiralty Blue with Mulberry leather.
The upper body is in excellent and rust free with a beautiful paint finish and the all important “D” posts inside the rear door shuts are perfect.
The underside is A 1 and original with no sign of any welding or repairs - the rear springs still have their original protective wrapping.
The interior is good. with a new head-lining and recently re-trimmed recently drivers seat (£800) and the original fitment “Radiomobile” is working well.
Various recent mechanical works have included a gearbox rebuild. the fitting of a stainless exhaust and a new old stock steering box - very hard to find now.
On the road this beautiful and imposing Rover drives very well with smooth gear changes and plenty of power.
This P 5 is in beautiful order and as good as many of the higher priced examples on offer. Excellent value! Please call if more detail is required.
