Hello. What you are looking at today is a very tidy 1949 Daimler DB 18 Drop Head Coupe very much like the prewar Winston Churchill one auctioned recently. It has lived in the Southern United States (Florida. Georgia) for over 30 years. Nicely restored by professional restoration specialist in USA. New clearcoat/basecoat paint. all new leather with wool carpets. wood refinished. engine rebuilt and trans gone through. new brakes all around. new mohair hood. head lamps resilvered. rebuilt trafficators. ew radial tires. Even has a period wicker picnic basket strapped to interior of boot lid. Car runs and drives well and is ready for touring. The car has just arrived back in UK and all taxes. duties and registration is complete with new V 5. We will be showing the car for the first time at the DLOC International meet in Shrewsbury on Sunday June 9 th and car will be sold at "No Reserve" at the Bonhams Banbury Run.
