Mopar Collectors Guide May 2014 feature car for sale
Current customer rating:
1971 Plymouth Barracuda ‘Cuda
Here is a really nice example of a correct. all numbers matching. unusually optioned Plymouth ‘Cuda.
You may have seen this one featured in the May 2014 issue of Mopar Collector's Guide magazine . yet another one of those very rare factory-optioned packages that likely is the only one in existence.
This one was rumored to have been ordered new by a female and was delivered from a dealership in New York State.
Subsequent ownership history was/is patchy. but the original build sheet and fender tag stayed in tact and well preserved.
Engine and transmission stampings match the VIN and build sheet as they should.
It underwent a full rotisserie restoration approximately 5 years ago. is painted the correct GB 5 bright blue metallic with black vinyl top.
The only options added that do NOT match the build sheet are the black bill boards and 15” rallye wheels.
It originally had 14” steel wheels. 3461401 full wheel covers. and F-78 white wall tires.
The fender tag reads:
451635 – build sequence number
N 1 B – 383 c. i. 1971 Hamtramck plant

These features were retained during the restoration to keep the car correct.
