This 1950 Buick Super Riviera's condition  can be described in two words. super fine

 

One owner for over 50 years. car had been garaged kept and rarely driven

after the late 60's. 72. 06 miles

Complete set of original owners manuals. operating guides. original sales invoice and bill of sale from Leyman Motor Co. of Louisville Kentucky.  vehicle remained in

Louisville for it's entire life until acquired by us and brought to Missouri

 

This vehicle runs and drives very well.

tight steering and front end. a pleasure to drive and we had it out today before listing it and it truly drives well.

 

The famous 263 cid straight eight engine is backed by the Dyna Flow automatic transmission

 

This car is in excellent condition. never rusted. repainted for the first time 6 years ago. The original chrome and stainless is some of the best 60+ year old trim you will find on any car. the vent window chrome. the side glass chrome frames . etc. is almost perfect

 

The body is straight . the panel fit is

as close to perfection as you will find. the windows operate easily and most of the weatherstrip is still in good original condition.

 

It has it's original engine. with the numbers on the engine matching the original sales invoice

 

The two tone blue metallic paint is very nicely done and looks great. the colors are Imperial Blue over Olympic Blue

 

The interior upholstery had some wear so it was professionally replaced to match the original as closely as possible

 

The dash cluster. gauges . and center chrome is near flawless. the steering wheel and horn ring is probably one of the best original you will find

 

The radio turns on but does not operate so either the speaker is bad or there is a tube out

 

This vehicle has some rare GM accessories including under dash tissue holder. swing out food serving tray . and salt and pepper shakers in the glove box.

 

It has a newer set of Coker supplied wide white wall tires and what appears to be one of the original tires mounted on the trunk spare. also has the original jack
