Seller's notes: "The 4.3 V6 and factory 700R4 was removed in 2003 and a Complete Drive-line from 1988 Camaro Z28 305ci H.O (High Output) with 700R4 four speed automatic transmission was installed.Lots of little things left to do. Speedometer needs Sensor at Transmission, Cruise Control need cable,Radiator runs cool but had been repaired couple time,Interior over all is ok! but (both) front seats need reupholster,Was repainted 2007 factory (Burgundy/White) Hood and Roof little faded from Florida sun. New front tires, used rear tires, Suspension rides ok but still on original factory springs and shock,may need replacing soon."

1989 GMC JIMMY S 15 with/ 1988 Camaro Z 28 Drive-line

!!!!Clean Title!!! LOW RESERVE!!!!!!! Must Sell!!
This is a 1989 GMC Jimmy S 15 that came from factory fully loaded ( A/C. ruise. lectric Doors Windows. arribean Package includes Roof Rack. Fender Flares. unning Boards. railer Hitch. and Gold Pin-stripping. actory Rally Wheels amd Two-Tone Paint Burgundy/White. It has been driven daily since 2003 as local Shop Truck and Parts Runner!! Needs lots of (little) cosmetic stuff!! But start up everytime no problem!.
What does it need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since the engine swap was done lots of little stuff to repair. Need Speed Sensor. to run Speedometer as Camaro was cable speedo- Radiator runs cool! but has been repairs few times. hould be replaced soon--Engine needs a good tuning from running around town last 10 years--Still running on factory shocks and springs that should be changed soon -- New tires up front- Used tires in rear (60 -70 %) tread -- Cruise needs new cable or used cable to work -- Head-liner little loose round the front edges -- Interior looks ok but carpet little faded -- Front seats both need re-covered Door rubber seals or old and little dry --These or the little things that need to be done since engine swap!! None of these little probems stops truck from being driven!!
New Parts added!!!!!!Tinted glass sides and rear --New Accel Spark Plugs. ew Accel Disturbutor. ew 8 mm Wires. New water pump. wo new front tires. ew belts. Holley 600 carb rebuilded. lderbrock Intake -- Recently New Shorty Headers. with 2-1/4 Stainless Steel Exhaust with Flow Master Mufflers. 700 R 4 Transmission Completely rebuild 2008. ew fuel filters. ront and rear. ew brake pads front/rear 2010. Dual Cooling Fans with remote switch. Am/Fm Cassette Jensen. H. O. 305 ci motor (heads down) factory stock (never opened)-- New paint sides and rear!! Hood and roof need recoating little faded front Florida sun --This little Jimmy runs OLDSCHOOL!!! no computer needed. Been on Florida Turn-Pike couple times rides smooth at 70 mph.
History! Again this little Jimmy S 15 came from factory in 1989 with V 6 4. 3 and 700 R 4 trans Loaded Options S 15 with Carribean Package!! but in 2003 I needed more towing torque so I had engine swap to a Drive-line from 1988 Z 28 H. O. 305 ci and Transmission 700 R 4 machincal. needs no cumputer. Transmission was completely rebuilded by Professional 2008 or so. Never wrecked!!!!
Licence and insured presently This little Jimmy get driven everyday around town somewhere!! Its very dependable . as good heater. /c just need condensor added!!! radio. works all working lights. new brakes. stays cool round town traffic. and starts outside truck every times. Interior looks ok just need front seats recovered mostly. Oil/water/amp gauges lower dash.
