Original Classic 1970 Ford Bronco 76. 11 Original Miles 302 V-8 Perfect Body Uncut New Paint Showroom Piece Super Clean Interior New Tires Drum Brakes New Door Seals Rebuilt Carburetor
You are looking at a 1970 Original Ford Bronco with 76. 11 original mile.
The Bronco is an unrestored other than it was repainted the original color a few years ago.
The Bronco has been garaged and everything works on the drive very well.
The tires are are in excellent condition.
The All the doors are straight and shut tight.
The seats. headliner. radio (AM). antenna. really everything I can think of looks and works well.
The engine runs great and has always been tuned by a local classic car guy who owns a shop and knows how to tune properly.
It has the original distributor and runs points.
Never upgraded to electronic ignition as it's easy to care for and really kind of cool being original.
The exhaust is also original and works well.
Both fuel tanks work well and the valve to switch tanks works also.
All instrument panels and lights. gauges work.
All chrome bumpers are in great condition I believe to original
It has some factory options. the 4:10 rear differential and 9" Ford rear axle.
That means with the 302 V-8 (first year of what would become the 5. 0 Mustang motor in the early 80's - underrated at 205 bhp and 300 lb/ft of torque) and the three speed manual column shifter (3-on-the-tree) get poor gas mileage (about 10 mpg). but will climb the side of a mountain like a billy-goat.
It's purpose built. of course.
History: The original owner bought the Bronco new and it spent its life as a daily driver from 1970-2007 in Durango. Colorado.
Then the 2 nd owner who was a collector bought it and repainted it and cleaned it up and it has sat garaged since 2007.
I believe he may have put 1000 miles on it in 5-6 years.
I bought the Bronco to be a daily drive for me to make my big 1 mile commute to work everyday.
Needless say I haven't been driving it and I have a a few cars and I am needing to make some garage space.
Please note the only issue I have found on the Bronco is the inside left engine sidewall has barley rusted through . overall there is a 2" round part where the metal is thin. (Please see pictures).
There is a black mark like possibly something in the engine compartment got on the sidewall and accelerated the process.
Also there is a small bulldog hood ornament the prior own put on.
Other than that the Bronco is perfect and run great.
