up for sale is what started life as a Beck Porsche spyder. as of today. everything is new and in excellent condition. engine pro-built by Bernie Bergman in Oklahoma. dyno'd at over 200 hp - all the best of what is available for the vw engine!. 2499cc. body/frame by Beck industries - # 0062B ( BUILT WHEN BECK WAS IN CALIFORNIA). beautiful silver blue exterior with red spears. complete new gearbox and 3. 70 posi  rearend gears. red leather interior w/ new rugs/mats. this car was used in 2 Canadian movies - 'Crash' used the car to recreate the crash of James Dean back in 1955 when he died in a Porsche spyder in California - this car's exterior was replicated to match JD's car and was used in the 'before' beauty shots in the movie. it was also used in another independent film/movie entitled 'dream weaver'. . the car was also raced in western Canada by mantis racing. the car was then brought into the US. sent to arizona and COMPLETELY rebuilt!. new wider wheels/brakes/engine with dry sump oil system/transaxle/ aluminum racing pedal assy/tires/badges/rugs/battery/msd ignition/custom headers/exhaust/clutch pp/bearing/cables/weber carbs. etc. all work done professionally . the car is now registered in NYS as a 1957 vw convertible . this is a serious build and very fast. it holds the road like a race car should due to the better/wider wheels and tires. new suspension. and mid engine. absolutely street legal with wipers/turn signals+. serious offers  considered. this car is priced fairly  to sell - the reserve is very reasonably for the shape that it is now in and with all the current mods and the movie/racing history. have ALL paperwork and documentation for this car since it was first built - hey. you only live once - drive this car and you will love it - smooth. sleek and eyecatching!
