1972 Chevy Chevrolet Cheyenne C20 Not GMC for sale
Current customer rating:
This is a 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 20 Custom Camper one-owner truck.
V 8. 350. automatic. power-steering. power-brakes. air conditioning. 121. 67 actual miles.
I have a receipt for when the transmission was rebuilt approx 5000 miles ago.
Timing chain was changed shortly after transmission was rebuilt.
The truck doesn't leak oil or transmission fluid.
It had a new starter put on it.
The guy I got the truck from was 87 years old and took very good care of it.
He mainly used it for camping. not for a work truck.
The bed is not all beat up. but it does have a couple of rust bubbles by the tailgate. which I have pictured.
There is no rust in the inner or outer rockers. floorboards or cab supports.
The only rust I found on this truck are the 2 little places on the driver's door. which I have pictured.
The paint appears to be all original. maybe a little spot work on the driver's quarter panel.
Inside. the bed floor looks like some scratches might have been touched up a bit with a spray can.
The truck is very straight.
I was told that it has never been wrecked.
This truck came from the factory with dual gas tanks and dual batteries.
Both are very rare options.
I do have the factory radio that was changed out and will go with the truck.
The tires look to be approx 85% tread (remaining).
He told me he took the belt off of the air conditioner and put headers on it. thinking it would get better gas mileage.
I pressed on the fitting (where freon goes) and it still has some pressure on it.
The original carpet is in very good condition.
The seat is original. but has some splits in it.
The door panels are very nice.
It looks like he tried to paint the armrests at one point.
The dash pad looks like it's been recovered.
The headliner is in very good condition. but is sagging a bit due to the glue getting old and loose.
This is a very good. original truck that's had a lot of loving and no abuse.
