Selling my 1975 Mazda rotary pickup (REPU). I am the second owner of this beautiful truck and have owned it for over 5 years. I purchased it from the original owners family. who were located in Bakersfield CA. which is a nice and dry desert city. so there is at worst minor surface rust. which has been treated to prevent any further damage. It has 92k original miles and runs and drives nicely. On the exterior. the truck still wears it's ORIGINAL butterscotch paint still in very good  condition. especially for a close to 40 year old truck. There are some minor dings and such as can be seen in the pics. which I had planned to fix when I got the truck. but decided not to as you can only have original paint once! There was some surface rust on the floor of the bed so it was wire brushed. etch primed. and top coated with a Duplicolor bed liner to protect it. Truck has all the original rotor shaped center caps. but are not shown in the pics. They are currently mounted.   Tires are new. Battery box is solid. Has a custom made class IV trailer hitch. Engine is the 4 port 13B rotary and I have a receipt that shows the motor rebuilt at 62k. Emission solenoids were removed. but I have them if the new owner wishes to reinstall them. Exhaust system is still original and is in good shape. There are occasional rattles due most likely to the heat shields (there are a lot of them!). The original transmission has been replaced with a 5 speed from a SA RX7 and was a bolt in swap. Makes it so much nicer going down the freeway. On the interior. sound deadener and insulation were added below the new carpet. new door and kick panels were made up to go with the previously reupholstered bench seat. I have the original door and kick panels that go with the truck. I had the new ones make as I put speakers in the door and did not want to cut the originals since they were so nice. New aftermarket door seals. Aftermarket Sony head unit installed. (dash was already cut for a 80's radio. which no longer worked). When I got the truck. the owner also include a super rare OEM Mazda in the box dash pad. which is installed. You can probably count on 2 hands (maybe one) how many of these trucks still have a perfect original dash. Original steering wheel in great shape. I had people offer me well over $500 just for the pad! I added an aftermarket A/C system to the truck to help with those hot summer drives. Truck still runs cool in the middle of summer with the A/C on. Windows have been tinted.   There are some super nice restored REPU's. but this has to be one of the nicest original REPU's out there. Anyone can restore one. but a truck is only original once. Any of the  changes I made can easily be converted back to bone stock and I have almost all the parts to do so. I will also include some rare NOS parts I acquired when I bought the truck such as vent window rubber and door sweeps. and some aftermarket parts like all parts to rebuild the front suspension and some clutch parts. None of this is needed now. but it's good to have spares. Link to more pics. https://imageshack. com/a/2lnq/1 Truck is sold in as in condition with no warranty or guarantee either given or implied.
