Today we have listed a really cool - bad to the bone - '32 Ford 5 window coupe. Not a fiberglass car - the real thing. This is one of two that we are listing for a gentleman who is thinning his herd - and the herd is pretty amazing. If you've ever heard of people who build 'no expense spared' - this is one of those fellows. I will do my best to describe this coupe so that you feel you know it. and to point out any and all problems (darn few). It's hard to show the total story of this pickup in the words I use. but I have added as many pictures as possible - I tried to use pictures that covered the overall feel and look of the car. We use lower resolution so that anyone in the world can download them with relative ease.  The photos were taken at Evergreen Air Museum just outside of McMinnville. Oregon - and they are cool enough to let us take all our pictures there using their planes as backdrops. It's really a must see place with an Air and Space museum. Water Park. IMax theater and more - if you're ever in the area stop in and take a look. Please be aware that this car is advertised and for sale locally. nationally and globally. and we do reserve the right to end this auction at any time if the vehicle sells before auction ends. This car is definitely for sale and definitely on the money price wise. If you are SERIOUS about the car - please call my cell # 503. 580. 6225 if I don't answer the first time - try again later - if I am at work I may not be able to answer your call. This is one of the baddest. nicest and most serious hot rods on the planet at any price. Buy it today and be the envy of those who hesitated and missed it.

What is it about a '32 Ford Coupe that attracts us in - kind of like a bug to the bug zapper! There's the 3 window. hich is pretty darned cool - and then there's the 5 window. Think Milner. American Graffiti. hot rods. circle track racers. Grandpas car. One thing I can tell you for sure - this isn't the Grandpa's car you had in mind. It actually is owned by a Grandpa. but a pretty cool one. and a man who loves his hotrods. He builds them to keep. but he is at a point where he's had a couple more done than he had originally thought. and now he is a little short on room - I know - I have one of his '32's in my own shop while it's for sale! I would love to tell you a big long story about this car. but I can't - I don't know if it's had any really cool former history. magazine pictures or any of that. What I do know is it's a real Henry Ford built 1932 Ford. Not a reproduction. no fiberglass present - just the real deal. It's been chopped a long time. back in the 50's is one thing we do know. which has been passed down through the owners. Other than that - any other story other than the one I know from and of the current owner would be purely assumption. If this car could talk though. we would bet it has a pretty storied history. The car was a really nice. complete running and driving car - the owner took it to a friend of mine who works on a lot of his cars. and said 'go through it'. This means do it right. no expense spared. and make it the most bad boy '32 Coupe you can. He gave him some basic parameters. but other than that. it was 'let's do this!'. Keep in mind that everything on this car has way less than 1000 miles on it. The engine is a 1957/58 392 Hemi. with 392 Hemi heads. Mickey Thompson valved covers. The engine. as does everything else on the car has about 700 miles on it. It's fed by dual quads breathing through a finned BDS blower scoop. and runs an Iskenderian "Isky" cam. Everything that can be finned. is - just kidding - but you get the drift - finned and polished M/T valve covers. finned and polished oil pan. air scoop - everything has been touched. finished. coated and or plated that can be. The cheap route? Not here! This engine was put together by the folks at Supertune in Vancouver Washington. The cooling is handled by a new Walker radiator. Ignition by Mallory. headers from Sanderson and out to some nice rumpity side exhaust (the sound brings pure joy to the heart which is felt as well as heard). the pulley drive system is by Mr. Gasket. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a very mild (as in good for street driving) 1800-2000 rpm stall. and this replaces the former Chrysler Torque Flight that resided in the car when the owner purchased it. The driveshaft is fresh as well. and was custom built by Driveline Services. The battery is a new Optima. This thing flat thumps - it's fun to watch the car idle. it makes the front tires nearly come off the ground at idle. The power is smooth. there's a ton of torque. and the car flat out hauls. All of this sits in a stock but boxed and modded '32 Ford chassis. The front axle was a tube type. but that was replaced by a new forged/dropped/chromed I-beam axle. The front brakes are 11 GM Disc with a Wilwood master cylinder. The rear end is a narrowed Ford 9 inch mounted by Pete and Jakes ladder bars. and the rear has discs as well. and the shocks are a coil over type. The rear is Dutchman built. is a positraction and is running their 31 spline axles. Once again everything is chromed. polished. platted and uses the best of the best. Tires are P165-75R14 up front and LT315-70R15 out back. both are mounted on chrome steelies with Ford caps. Previously the car was running some Billet Specialties wheels. but the owner wanted a bit more of an 'old school' look. so most of the billet stuff was chucked. Everything possible has been chromed. polished. or painted. The car's pictures will really tell you most of the story. It's all new. it's all right. and it's all DONE. One thing's for certain - this is one of the best driving '32's I have ever piloted down the road. It's really quite amazing - you would think it would be a pretty rough riding. uncomfortable and harsh car. but it's so not that at all. You can hop in this and drive all day long - no kidding. there's just no issues. and it drives like a dream. The interior was all gone through as was the rest of the car. it's done in gray leather with a wool carpet. The dash is done '32 ford style. alloy and leather steering wheel. the instruments are Stewart Warner. and all the wiring is Ron Francis - and most everything operates off a switch panel mounted just below the dash. The doors close super nice. and once again. everything just works. it's all been touched and it's all done top cabin with nice materials. and done well. The trunk is all finished as well. and once again. nicely. This is a high dollar interior folks - more was spent on in than some spend on their cars!  This is a non smoker car. so no issues with funny smells. burns or anything like that. Outside the all sreel body is done in a purple which is really more of a dark purple. One of the questions I know will be asked is 'how much is the car chopped?' I don't know the answer to that. but it's substantial. and since no one we know did the chop we cant say exactly. I am 6ft 3 and not super skinny. and fit the car really well - if you are 6'8 and 350 lbs it might be a bit cozy. Big folks should ALWAYS drive chopped cars. I think :-) The body and paint is really the only thing the current owner hasn't done. so we don't know how much old lead is in the chop - what we do know is that the bodywork in that area has not popped out or had issues - having a paint job that's been on a while is most often better than a fresh 'wonder what the heck is under it' finish.  The trunk mounted gas tank is a Tanks brand set up. The striping / flame striping is all done by the one and only world famous Mitch Kim. One of the few things I can pick on is that you can see where the license bolt holes for a previous mounting of a license plate are in the back panel. There is now a vacuum operated hidden type plate set up that flips down when you start the car. flips up when you shut it off. This is a quality built car. nothing really to complain about - I know the owner paid nearly 50k for the car when he bought it. and has put easily that in it. Investment wise. it won't be great for him (losing money isn't usually great). but what an excellent opportunity for you. I know you can't build this car for the reserve. and even if you did it wouldn't be near this cool. or be a Steel Henry Ford body. or. or or. The car isn't 'distressed merchandise' - the only reason the owner is selling it and the other '32 is that he is short on air conditioned and heated storage. simply put. The car wasn't fluffed. waxed or primped for these pictures. it's always kept the way you see it. and yes. there is a dirty spot on the drivers door panel. easily cleaned - but the photos are honest. eactly as the car is at all times. and since being redone. it's always been kept in heated/cooled storage. Buy it. drive it. show it. have fun with it - you will have an amazing time with this car. thumbs up. trophies. winners circles. new friend. and conversations galore. A chopped all steel '32 Coupe with a Hemi that's turnkey and done. Does it get any better? It does when YOU are in the driver's seat. and the car is in your garage or shop.   If you have any questions. please feel free to contact us and we will answer questions to the best of our ability.
