57 prefect with an original escort RS2000 engine with ally sump and bellhousing it has a stage 3 head and burton 40/41 road/rally cam twin 40's. new 4branch manifold and new 2" mini sportex competion exhaust adapted. 5 speed box and quickshift. as capri front suspension ie. legs. rack and pinion steering. the legs have had brandnew inserts fitted over last winter with new bearings new 170lb springs and polly bushes. and a new servo to power up the brakes. k2 pedal box and converted to cable clutch. 105e axle with 3. 89 diff
folder full of history and bills. nbsp;the V5 has 2lt on it
as you can see in one picture it has a ding in the back panel which was done before i bought which adds to it's patina :) it's solid underneath original sills and floor pans the only bit rust is when you open the back doors bubbling on inner arch where the two panels overlap but these are not structal. me being picky and honest
this is a learey motor which doesn't like it under 3000 rpm (cause of the cam 3k to 7. 5k rpm power band)you have to drop a gear when trying to pull slow in third gear etc. and the carbs spit a bit. but put your foot down and it's a pocket rocket. it's fine on the open road. nice drive. just so you know. don't want people round saying my missus won't be able to drive it :) IT'S AN ANIMAL . although it don't look like it ;)
