1955 Nash Metropolitan Convertible for Sale. Here's a very rare and seldom seen Metropolitan Convertible built by Nash to offer the consumer a vehicle which was great on fuel. easy to work with in traffic. easy to park. and designed as a commuter car. This came at a time in the automobile industry when the big three were producing massive cars with fins and lots of chrome to accent the car's lines and add to their appeal. At the other end of the scale were cars such as Crosley. Iseeta with it's one opening front door. and the Messerschmitt KR 175 also known as the bubble car. Nash saw a need for an affordable. economical car that provided all of these features. A car that you could drop the top to make it a sporty little weekend driver.

an Austin 4 Cylinder with 1100 cc and backed with a 3 speed transmission. the car hit the road from 1955 through 1962. The design featured a full fendered car which covers a good portion of the wheels front and rear. The trunk is accessed through the rear seat for storage.
