1972 Volkswagen Bay Window Sunroof Van/Bus

1 Owner. purchased new in January 1972 at Parkinson Volkswagen. Placentia. Calif.   I have the original Bill of Sale.   Husband bought it for his wife on their 1st Anniversary!

Always garaged. well taken care of by the owner who was a long time VW mechanic that meticulously cared for this amazing time capsule of  VW history!  85% Original Paint. The Bay Window buses are now the affordable collectable VW Van.   To have an opportunity to own a van as pristine and unmolested as this one is rare!!  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this one for the first time.

Original sunroof. Updated transaxle with only  70. 00  miles on it. updated motor has appox. only 53. 00 miles on it.   with a 1. 8 engine. balanced and blueprinted.   Dual 48 IDA Carbs. K&N Filters. very strong running van. nbsp; Speedometer shows 126. 00 miles.  

The interior is as immaculate as the outside.   It also comes with a conversion bed if seats are removed for camping.   Seats are like new.

 

NO RUST NO ISSUES!
