I am selling my beautiful 1955 Oldsmobile.   It has quite a pedigree!  This car was built in the South Gate plant in California.   It had lived its whole life there until I bought it 2 years ago.   Documentation:  I have the registrations back to 1960 and they reflect the license plate you see on the car.   I also have the original owners manual.   This car has no rot on it nor has it been patched by me or anybody else.   The frame of the car has no pitting from front to back due to the dry climate.   This car still has the original brake lines and gas lines.   I took them off. cleaned and painted them and put them back on (no bull).   This car still has the original fuel tank and sending unit.   The car still has all the original wiring in it.   The emergency brake cables still work like new.   The motor has not been rebuilt nor has the transmission.   I put only new front and rear seals in the transmission.   I could not find a reason to rebuild either one.   I did paint the engine and transmission when I took them off the frame to have it sandblasted.  The exhaust system is new. front to back.   New brakes. new wheel cylinders. new brake hoses. original brake drums turned down.   All the front steering components are original. including the steering box.   The car has brand new shocks.   I have rebuilt the carburetor and color coated it.   I installed a complete tune up - points. plugs. wires. cap and rotor.   The car has a new original style Delco battery.

This car has been stripped to bare metal.   It is painted the color it was born with.   All of the side and window chrome is original.   All of the glass has been replaced except the rear window. which is no longer available.   Door handles are new. bumpers are original but I had them rechromed as well as all the pot metal on the car.   There is no pitting on any emblems or anything else.

The hub caps are the original Fiesta style.   They have not been repaired nor have they been painted.   The car has five brand new mounted and balanced BF Goodrich Silvertown wide white walls.

The car came equipped with power steering. power brakes. power antenna. power seat. Wonderbar radio. which does not work. but the tubes do light up.   It does not appear to have ever been out of the car.   The car has a rear speaker.   It also has an autronic eye.   I don't know how to set it.   I was told it has a set of procedures to make it work.   It is hooked p.   The car also has a rare remote foot pedal switch to change radio stations.

When I purchased the car. it still had the original interior in it.   It was severely faded and coming apart at the seams.   Fortunately all the original interior material is still available through SMS and I had it sewn and installed locally.   I was fortunate enough to find the original Daytona carpeting.   If you are wondering about the trunk. and why it does not have the lining in it. I did not forget.   But if I put the lining in it. everybody would want to know what I am trying to hide.   So the answer is nothing. not even any pitting.   I have a brand new lining in the box that goes with the car.   I will install it if someone wants me to.

No warranty expressed or implied. The buyer is responsible for shipping and costs.   Title and vehicle will not be released until our bank clears the payment in full.

Thanks for the interest.
