I finished  building this about four years ago as my company van. circumstances changed and it has been in dry. heated storage since.

The bodywork was totally rebuilt properly with original strengtheners put in the sills as per factory. new wings repairs to doors. loors and chassis welded and painted. New fuel tank fitted.

The engine was replaced with a 136K Sierra turbo diesel engine and gearbox which has had new belts . ilters and oils . It has a custom made exhaust manifold and sump. vac pump deleted. new clutch assembly. one piece prop and a 3;77 open diff.

The brakes have been renewed throughout with new pipes. cylinders. new handbrake cable and is fitted with a proper Ford motorsport bias pedal box to free up space in the engine bay and provide front to rear adjustment when loaded.

The rear springs have been rebuilt and fitted with new shock absorbers. the front inner wings have splash guards fitted it also has genuine Mexico 1/4 bumpers

The interior has two RS recaro front seats. the passengers seat has two cigarette burns as shown in the photo. The headlining is black moonstone with matching RS sun visors. Astra roof ariel . teel framed bulkhead that is covered in 9mm ply that can be unbolted. the rear load area has the sides and floor boarded but could do with the wheel arches being boxed in The floor has 4 steel loops for ratchet straps and 2 interior lights.

The rear doors have new seals and have  aluminium plates bolted behind both rear windows that can be removed. the bottom of the doors have been boarded in ply. the lock has been replaced with a Yale lock mounted in a stainless steel escutcheon.

The van benefits from a alarm and immobiliser and central locking to both front doors. the rear chassis has been drilled and wired for fitment of a tow bar [not included]. The RS alloys have been refurbished and have good Firestone tyres fitted.

The shell and chassis has been fully waxoiled but now may need a refresh.

Remember that this van has been built with work in mind. so its not original or concours but will be reliable. economical and cope with everyday use.

Road fund tax until October 2014.

MOT until April 2015.

V5 present and in my name for the last 13 years.

All changes declared to DVLA and are listed on V5.
