History

The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second generation North American Ford Falcon. a compact car. Introduced early on April 17. 1964. dubbed as a "1964½" model by Mustang fans. the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest nameplate in production and has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation.

The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobiles—sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks [ —and gave rise to competitors such as GM's Chevrolet Camaro. AMC's Javelin. and Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracudas and Dodge Challengers.

This beautiful Factory S Code 390 ci Mustang Fastback has been upgraded with factory GT options. The 4 year nut and bolt restoration was completed in 2006. Every nut and bolt was removed and all items were either refurbished or replaced. NOS or used original parts were used everywhere possible. This car came from Florida in the late 90's and has been stored indoors ever since.

The previous owner purchased the car in 2002. It has been driven only 12. 00 miles since the restoration. This is a very high quality driver! The car was painted during the restoration 8 years ago. The previous owner recently had the car completely repainted to repair a few small chips.
