Stunning Frame off Restored RARE 1968 Corvette Coupe L-89. This car has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration with no expense spared! This car is for the serious collector that wants a Rare Corvette that is ready to be taking to NCRS meets and be judged. This car has recently recived a NCRS 2 nd Flight Award and lost most of the points due to having side pipes. and is over restored. (They didnt offer sidepipes in 1968 and door jambs needed to be dulled).

Included with this car is the Original Tank Sticker still on the Original Tank! Factory Optioned with: Soft Ray Tinted Glass~All Windows (A 01). Power Windows (A 31). Headrests (A 82). Custom Shoulder Belts (A 85). Special Front and Rear Suspension (F 41). Positraction Rear Axle (G 81). Power Brakes (J 50). Transistor Ignition System (K 66). 427 ci/435 hp engine (L 71). Aluminum Cylinder Heads with L 71 (L 89). 4-Speed Manual Transmission~Close Ratio (M 21). Telescopic Steering Column (N 36). Power Steering (N 40). Am-Fm Radio (U 69) and Factory Side Pipes (Dealer installed from new).

As you can see this is a Highly Optioned '68 L 89 Corvette with two very rare options including: Special Front and Rear Suspension with only 1. 58 being produced with this option and the Super Rare Aluminum Cylinder Heads with L 71 options (L 89) with only 624 L-89 Corvettes being produced in 1968! Stunning Safari Yellow (984) exterior with a Black (402) interior. Body was done on a rotisserie and was competly striped and redone back to factory spec and painted in a PPG Base/Clear. All the glass is white. floor boards are bare white glass. and this is the true definition of Show Quality Paint!!! Under the hood you will find the all numbers matching/correctly dated Drivetrain including engine. trans. and rear. All correct factory Componets such as the Smog pump. carbs. intake manifold. radiator. Fan shroud. GM hoses. etc. Everything has been redone or replaced with less then 10 miles on the whole car since being completed! This is a great Bloomington Gold or NCRS Top Flight Canidate!
