Re-listed due to winner making contact upon winning & promising to call but never did. Please don't bid if you have no intention of following through with the purchase.
Up for auction is this seriously KQQL Apache stepside pickup. This classic project features the following:
Original 6cyl / manual engine (running when parked);Low KM GoodWrench 350ci Crate engine & 4-speed manual box (not in truck. but included in auction);Ultra hard-to-find step-side tub. guards & running boards (near impossible to find in oz - took us months to source this one- pictured); andBeautifully presented interior incl. button bench seat (amazing condition considering age). These trucks are becoming increasingly rare. especially in Australia and are hard to find complete with a stepside tray.
To a person with the right skills & vision. this truck will be an absolute headturner once finished. Do a quick google search on custom/air-bagged Apache pickups to see what is possible!
The glass is complete. except for the drivers side quarter window which has a crack. The expensive and hard-to-source wrap-around front and rear windscreens are complete. There are rust issues around the rear window sill. but the front windscreen is fine. Easy fix for a panel beater. Truck is unregistered and is sold as is/where is. however I can possibly assist with transport at the winner's expense.
Clean & restored examples of these trucks fetch $30-40k +. Grab yourself an affordable entry into the Kustom scene for a fraction of this. Truck is located in the Tweed Heads area.
