Triumph TR6, full professional restoration, upgraded

Immaculate genuine RHD UK CP Triumph TR6.  
Just two owners from new. manual and overdrive (A type) and running it's original Lucas petrol injection (upgraded).

This is a lovely. sorted. powerful and safe example of this classis British sports car that encourages enthusiastic driving through its strong engine. stiff chassis. powerful brakes and tight body control.

During a 2 year nut and bolt restoration (with full photo history). the chassis was fully rebuilt. strengthened and equipped with a limited slip differential. All bushes are now poly ‘Superflex'. brakes are uprated and the car sits on Koni shocks. uprated/lowered road springs and centre-spline Minilite replica wheels with Yokohama rubber. A matching spare is included.

The body tub was fully reworked with new floors. new full sills. four new wings. rust free doors. boot lid and bonnet.  The hood is new. vinyl and on a reconditioned frame.

The engine is from a TR5. and had an £8k rebuild 2000 miles ago including worked head and dynamic bottom-end balancing with AE pistons.  A full stainless steel exhaust system is fitted complete with 6:3:1 tubular manifold. The Lucas PI system has been thoroughly reconditioned. and the gearbox and overdrive were professionally rebuilt.
The interior is in great condition with leather covered late-Mk1 MX5 seats (separate headrests). burr walnut dash plus new door cards and carpets with rubber over mats. A quality 4 speaker sound system is installed.

The car also benefits from a top-tint windscreen. TR5 ‘Le Mans' style fuel cap and security door locks.
