1961 Austin Healey Mark 1 Bugeye Sprite

CLEAN!

Custom Hot rod built Sprite built after the Rally success of the Speedwells and Sebring Sprites

Last year for the Mark 1. very limited production numbers. we are told less than 39 produced

Rust Free California car with lots of Rally upgrades

Body was fully Soda Blasted and prepped for a great show paint job.

Balanced and blueprinted 1340 cc engine from a 1275 cc that makes about 100 hp.

Modern electronic ignition and full 2” exhaust system. Stunning hand built header.

Now this car sounds like something!

Brand New Chrome wire knock-off wheels and plus sized tires.

BMC Competition Department Rib Cased Rally Race gear box with straight cut first and syncro 2 nd. 3 rd. and 4 th.

Shifts perfect and smooth. great clutch!

Huffacker engineering off set trunnion bushings so it has 1 degree negative camber in the front for better handling.

Rally front shock valves. Racing forged chro-moly front sway bar.

Spax adjustable Shocks

This Bugeye handles way better and is faster than most any other one out there.

On a autocross course. this car would torture a new Mini Cooper S !
