Where to begin. This 1959 GMC 1009 Apache) Fleetline is an outstanding Pick-up. It was a GMC Flagship Model with all the Chrome. It had a Frame off Restoration in 2005. To the Best of my Knowledge. The miles on the speedo are . s far as I can tell. the miles since restoration. This vehicle Starts. Stops. and Drives straight down the road. It has been fitted with many New Panels . ost of the Chrome is New. New Wiring Harness. ew Seat Cover. New Heater Unit. ew Wood Bed (I think Oak) Inside could do with sanding and varnish. ew Coker Whitewall Tyres. ew Exhaust. New Radiator. It had a fresh Engine and Gearbox Overhaul. It was restored to its Original State in a Fantastic Metallic Blue. It has the Original Foot Starter with 4 on the Floor Gearshift. It has the Original Oil Bath Aircleaner fitted with a Paper Element. The Paint on the Off-side door and around the filler cap is a bit dull and there are a couple of small rust areas. On the whole the Paint is very Good but not perfect. Has a very slight oil leak. It was my dream to have a truck like this but it is too big for my place . I have done a few small jobs on it since purchase. ike getting the door locks working. All Taxes and Import Duties have been Paid. She is free Road Tax and no MOT. But it would pass anyway.
