You are bidding on a modified 1986 Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio. The Spider was featured on the cover of the March 2012 edition of Alfa Romeo Owner's Club magazine. with an article inside.
Performance modifications done from 2009-11 include:
frame stiffener. performance springs. Koni adjustable shocks. new bushings. exhaust header. Ansa twin-tip exhaust with new center and rear mufflers. front brake hoses. axle straps. Kumho tires. K&N air filter.
new battery. high performance camshafts and throttle modification thanks to Vince at Nick Falcone's in Bala Cynwyd. PA.
The catalytic converter was removed.
Body modifications from the same period include:
The bumpers. Quadrifoglio side strips. and spoiler were removed. and replaced by a new front belly pan. and bumpers from a '74 spider.
The headlights were reshaped to accommodate Carello covers. and halogen headlights were installed.
Side view mirrors from the ‘70 s replaced the large black electric mirrors.
The tail lights are from the
Alfa Giulia Sprint Speciale.
Newly painted in 2010. There are new floormats. and the carpeting is in fair condition.
The car has airconditioning. 4 wheel disc brakes. five speed manual transmission.
fuel injection. electronic ignition. and an aftermarket JVC radio with CD player. and 68. 00 miles on the odometer.
The VIN is ZARBA 27.
The Spider comes with an Owner's Manual. Shop Manual. and an original Quadrifoglio tool kit.
The convertible top cover is in decent shape. There are two cracks in the dash. and the headliner looks worn. but the convertible top is in good condition.
The grey leather Quadrifoglio seats are excellent.
This is a rust-free. well-cared for Spider.
Everything is in working condition.
With the performance modifications. the car is quick. with a lovely exhaust note.
Currently. the spider carries Pennsylvania classic tags. so no state inspection or emission test is required.
The tags are transferable.
The photos show a Nardi wood steering wheel. but it now sports an original wheel- the horn roluctor ring needed replacing.
The Nardi will go with the car.
