1968 mk 1 transit 2700 kgs panel van with diesel engine.

this is an early model with the pedals coming up through the floor . this van spent most of its life in malta so very good condition for its age . drives . stops and starts on the key. apart from the mk 2 tail lights and steering wheel she looks very original to me.

good panels and floor and steps. both inner and outer wings good . a few slight marks here with only a few minor surface rust spots around the original arches. only to be expected from a van having being worked all its life. she will tidy with a coat of paint to show or tow your classic car with . she has a side door nearside and double rear doors all well hinged and locking . underside of van and engine bay is yellow so may have started out yellow and been painted at some stage.

good solid body to work on. single wheel panel vans are hard to come by now especially rhd.

not your usual lhd ex fire van from germany etc.

i can help arrange low loader or car transporter for any interested uk mainland parties. cash on collect or cleared funds before release.

the van is based in co. armagh n. ireland 30 miles from belfast docks.

will need trailered or collected from here by low loader etc as no mot or road tax.

malta tax book and export cert present.

costs £50 to register in uk to get uk v 5.

you simply mot and insure it on chassis number then apply to tax it.

she will qualify for a uk date related reg number . possibly an F reg suffix as she is similar in age to early mk 2 cortina 1600 e etc.
