Toyota Land Cruiser BJ 42 1984 Diesel 3 litre non turbo inline 4 Cylinder 5 speed manual gearbox Front Disc brakes Freewheeling hubs EZ Power steering New Bestop hood 2 x 12 volt batteries. (new) 24 volt electrics Stainless steel Roll Over Cage Well shod Cherished Number BJ 40 FJ will remain with the vehicle (Valued at £2500)Mechanically and bodily excellent having been imported from a warm climate.
Has had the benefit from a recent respray due to the red paint having faded badly from the sun.
Current MOT. but SORN at present. only used in the summer months. usually with the top off. doors off and windscreen in the horizontal position.
This is a fun car. reliable enough to be a daily driver and has been treasured by me and will be a sad loss. but age and family health issues means I am thinning out the contents of my Man Cave.
I can arrange for 12 months MOT if required by eventual purchaser at no extra cost and put either 12 or 6 months Road Fun licence at extra cost.
It would be better to view this vehicle. however you will not be disappointed.
Note. These FJ / BJ Landcruisers SWB were not ever imported into mainland UK. plentiful in Ireland and elsewhere in the World. so spare parts are plentiful.
There are a number of "Restoration" examples available. this is not one of them. if you are looking for work then look elsewhere. if you are looking for instant fun then this is the one for you
