This is my 1949 landrover series 1 80inc I wonted this landrover for more than 10 years and couldn't believe it when I was able to buy it in 2009I checked the history back at Gaydon Museum and I was told it was made on the 31st of November 1949 and it was delivered to Salisbury on the 1st of December 1949It was registered on the 1st of January 1950 and it has still got the original Wilcher number platesThe chasse has been shot blasted and painted as you can see on pictures it's all original no filler and no Rot It has got the original bulkhead but it was a little too far gone so I have got a replacement for it I purchased it from  Tom PittsfordBoth will come with the Land RoverAs you can see on the pictures the tub needs a little attention on the back corner as they always doeverything else is good just needs cleaning and repainting the gearbox might look tatty but it has been rebuilt and is the original one it has not got the original engine but it has got a series 12 L engine and it to turn over pretty good engineEverything is all present for the Land Rover just missing bows and sheets no longer have the hardtopI'm really going to miss it and I would have loved to been able to restore and enjoy it but I'm self-employed and Covid has been hard so I need to let it go but I really hope someone do get the chance to put it back original and as you will be aware this vehicle is worth a lot of money when it's done I really do think you will be waiting a long time to find another one like this with a good chasse and good bulkheadIf you have any questions please give me a call my name is Fred my contact number is (07769) 205036 if you can't get me just leave a message and I will call you back
