This car was up for sale a month ago but I had a problem with the starter motor the day it was going to be picked up. All sorted now so here it is again.

Up for sale is my beautiful Rover P 5 b Coupe. I don't want to sell it but I am now living on a barge with no parking so it has to go.
The engine has had a lot of work done by a previous owner. It's a 3. 9 V 8 efi lump with ported TVR heads. Kent cams and it pulls like a train. on the dyno it was running 279 bhp. Breathing through twin cherry bombs and some fair size mufflers it sounds gorgeous but not intrusive.

5 speed manual gearbox.
The body has all been recently resprayed in red with a white roof and it looks damn sexy when it's all washed and polished. always gets a lot of comments wherever it's goes.
Interior is in a fair condition. all original woodwork and leather. seats have been retrimmed at some point to a high standard. and it even has the original toolkit in the slide out tray in the front.
Car is 1969 so free tax. Mot is May I think. Classic insurance was cheap.

The car can be viewed near Weybridge in Surrey any evening.

this was my car and i did all the work i knew i recognised that plate, looked better in zircon blue and primer when i had it
