A SUPERBLY ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF THIS CITROEN CX. BELONGED TO A FRENCH DIPLOMAT IN LONDON FOR MOST OF ITS LIFE. AND WAS BASICALLY IN THE SAME FAMILY UNTIL RECENTLY. I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM A CITROEN SPECIALIST. AND HAD DANNY FROM WOLSEY HOUSE MOTORS GO OVER THE CAR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM . THERE WERE LOTS OF LITTLE THINGS WRONG ! HE DID A COMPLETE SERVICE TO INCLUDE ALL FLUIDS AND FILTERS ETC. EVERYTHING WORKS NOW AND THE CAR DRIVES SUPERBLY . SUSPENSION IS PERFECT . ALL TYRES WERE REPLACED AND SO WAS THE COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM . THE CAR IS A SERIES 1. 5 SO IT RETAINS THE CHROME BUMPERS AND THE SERIES 1 DASH AND INSTRUMENTS BUT HAS THE LATER ENGINE WITH FUEL INJECTION. INTERIOR IS VERY CLEAN AND ORIGINAL. WE HAD NOT PLANED TO SELL THE CAR HENCE SPENDING ALL THE TIME AND MONEY ON IT BUT DUE TO SPACE COMMITMENTS THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR HAS TO GO . THERE CANT BE MANY LEFT LIKE THIS NOW . Hi,
I didn't see any mention of MOT due date. I'm emailing from N.Ireland so visiting to see the car would be after some questions. Any fluid leaks from engine, suspension or transmission etc?
