For sale by Classics Central Auctioneers on Sunday 30 October at the Bedford Autodrome. Thurleigh Airfield Business Park. just off the A 6.

Among the last of the G Body platform Chevy trucks. this exceptionally clean El Camino bears excellent gold coachwork and its original brown velour interior which is also in fine order.

Imported to the UK in 2014 as a personally registered vehicle by its current keeper. it has formed part of a large private collection in this time and has benefited from ongoing improvements. including work to brakes and suspension in recent months.

Carrying an Mo T to 24 August 2017 and said to drive exceptionally well. it bears the ultra-reliable and smooth 3. 8-litre V 6 which is mated to an automatic transmission. Of particular note are the excellent wheels and tyres. which are refurbished and brand new respectively.

With Chevrolet ceasing El Camino production in 1987. this forms among the last of the model which for many years was GM's iconic passenger vehicle-based pickup and a sure-fire future classic – and surely even more collectible in such excellent condition.
