I am regrettably selling my awesome patina Chevy.

This car is in totally original paint. with zero blow-ins or primer anywhere! There hasn't been any welding carried out – the car is completely untouched! A very rare feat these days!

The Chevy spent all of its life in Texas. hence the beautiful sun-bleached patina look.

Apart from the obvious lowering job. it is completely standard.

No molesting anywhere.

The lowering comprises drop spindles up front and lowering blocks at the rear.

These minor mods are easily returned to stock. should the need arise.

The car has been in the UK for over a year now and is fully road registered and drivable.

Mechanically. the car is matching numbers with the straight 6 engine and three-on-the-tree manual gearbox completely stock.

It has been fully serviced including removing the cylinder head to lap all of the valves and decoke.

The motor sounds as sweet as a nut and pulls like a train.

It is surprisingly good on fuel. returning 25 mpg on a run.

The car is showing 79000 miles and condition and integrity of the mechanical components would suggest this to be accurate.

When the car came to this country it was recommissioned as it had stood since the mid 1980 s.

The brakes were fully rebuilt. the petrol tank was replaced for a new item. the battery was renewed and many other components such as the water pump replaced. new full exhaust system.

It drives very well.

The interior sports a factory fitted radio. clock and Firestone heater. which looks amazing! The seats and headliner need re-upholstering. but I like the look as is.

Rust wise. this Chevy is extremely solid.

The chassis is perfect.

There are a couple of small holes in the floor pan. which would take no more than a morning's work to sort.

For the cool memorabilia lovers: check out the contents of the glove box in one of the pictures – original owner's manual. original key fobs. spare spark plugs and other paraphernalia.

Of particular interest… 5 x 20 Dollar bills all dated from 1969.

These were neatly folded into squares and placed inside a small tin used for fuses! This all comes with the car.

Call it a 100 dollar cash back. as the bills can still be cashed at a bank!
