1977 Ford Capri MK2 3.0 Ghia Automatic for sale

1977 Capri
Mk 2
3. 0 litre Ghia. Automatic
This Mk 2 Capri is in stunning condition both inside and out. Garaged by the previous owner for nearly 14 years. only coming out in the dry for a few miles each year. The previous owner to that also stored it for about 12 years.
Purchased by my dad in March 2013. the car was put through its first MOT for many years. which it passed. The wheels were balanced. New thermostat installed. new points. condenser and coil fitted. front brake callipers overhauled ( as they were sticking ). Just re MOTed. passed without any advisories. runs untill April 2015.
Finished in Ford Sahara beige. with a Back vinyl roof. with a factory sunroof. this car looks stunning. The Body was re sprayed some 14 years ago. and is in excellent condition. Interior is in Gold/beige cloth. with matching carpets. again in excellent condition. Door cards are excellent. Headlining is excellent. Everything works. including the original Ford Radio. Correct Ford Alloy wheels with good tyres. It looks so 70's
The mileage is 45600 and with a few old
MOT'. s dating back to 1985.
there is
no reason to doubt this as genuine because of the originality and how solid the car is.
The wings. doors. bonnet and sills are original with the wings still having the spot welds on the top visible.
The 3. 0 Ltr Essex V 6 engine sounds great with oil pressure 3/4 on the gauge. Ticks over nice and drives great.
The auto box works fine with no problems. and drives very well. just as an old 3 litre should with everything working correctly.
So. a very original and beautiful Mk 2 Capri Ghia in excellent condition. but please remember it is 37 years old. and not a brand new car .
Just passed it's MOT. runs untill April 2015.
