BEAUTIFUL RED 1973 CORVETTE STINGRAY CLASSIC CAR L48 350 EXCELLENT CONDITION

I am selling my beautiful Corvette due to relocation.

This red L 48- 350 corvette was imported in 2013 from Ohio and previous owner had cherished this original car since 1996 (see trophy photo).

The car is a left hand drive model and has the deluxe interior. leather seats. electric windows. power steering and power brakes and a fully restored AM/FM radio and removable Targa Top.

The car has done 68000 miles based (as best as I can tell based on the US paperwork I have). The car has had extensive work done .

Work done includes:

New deluxe interior about 4 years ago. front and rebuild. ew springs front and rear. ew radiator. calipers. aster cylinder. alternator. seat belt refurb. tarter. battery. ebuilt stock am/fm radio. trailing arm. wheel bearings. ew wiper motor.

The car is completely original except Holley Carb. air filter and electronic ignition. I have the Rochester carb also so you can refit this if you wish but personally think it runs much better with the Holley and starts first time with the elec ignition. The car also has the chrome rack on the back . The car is now Road Tax exempt as a historical vehicle.

Facts about 1973 Corvette

The 1973 Chevrolet Corvette was the first "Rubber Bumper" Vette. The front chrome bumper was replaced with a federally mandated 5 MPH bumper. It added 35 pounds to the car and changed it's looks significantly. This is the only year that a rubber front bumper and chrome rear bumper were used at the same time. A new side brace was added as well to increase safety.

This was also the last year for the small spoiler at the back of the car. During production of the 1973 model year 4. 00 serial numbers were skipped. VIN numbers 24. 01 through 28. 00 were never manufactured. A new hood was introduced that featured cold air induction and removed the automatic panel that hid the windshield wipers. A vent in the hood by the windshield wipers provided cold outside air for the engine to injest.

The new ducts on the sides behind the front wheels were non-trimmed and consist of just one large hole and some body styling. It was the first year for radial tires on a Vette. Increased sound insulation was added to make the ride more comfortable. A new coolant recycling system recovered overheated coolant into a overflow container for cooling. This coolant was then recycled back into the radiator. The rear window of the '73 coupe was now also fixed.
